Il 4 febbraio 2012, alle 10 ore, nella cappella del Seminario Venerabile Pio Bruno Lanteri a Jundiaí, il novizio Leandro dos Santos Amorim ha fatto la prima professione.

Leandro, nato a Rio de Janeiro, ha fatto il suo postulandato a Jundiaí e il noviziato nella Casa Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, a Manaus. Sabato ha emesso i suoi primi voti temporanei alla presenza del Delegato del Rettor Maggiore in Brasile, Padre Bento Pavão, accompagnato dal Maestro dei Novizi, Padre Rodrigo Assis Rosa e dai sacerdoti del Consiglio e delle case di Jundiai, San Paolo e Curitiba. Erano presenti anche le Suore Oblate di Maria Vergine di Fatima e alcuni laici collaboratori.

Padre Bento sua omelia ha riflettuto sull'importanza della vita di preghiera e di servizio fraterno, per una feconda testimonianza del Regno di Dio al mondo. Fraternità che deve essere vissuta prima con i fratelli della Congregazione, sul consiglio del Fondatore: “per non mai rompere la carità!”

Ringraziamo Dio per il dono della vita e della vocazione di Fr. Leandro e preghiamo il Signore della messe per guidarlo e condurlo sempre nella sua strada, accompagnato dallo sguardo materno di Maria Santissima e del nostro Venerabile Fondatore.

The first profession of our novice Leandro dos Santos Amorim took place in the seminary chapel dedicated to Venerable Pio Bruno Lanteri in Jundiaí at 10 a.m. on February 4, 2012.

Leandro, who was born in Rio de Janeiro, did his postulancy in Jundiaí and his novitiate in Casa Nossa Senhora dos Remédios in Manaus. He made his first temporary vows in the presence of the Delegate of the Rector Major in Brazil, Fr. Bento Pavão, accompanied by the Novice Master Fr. Rodrigo Assis Rosa and by the priests of the Council and of the houses of Jundiaí, Saõ Paolo and Curitiba. The Oblate Sisters of Our Lady of Fatima and some lay collaborators of the Oblates were also present.

Fr. Bento spoke in his homily of the importance of the prayer life and of fraternal service for the sake of a fruitful witness of the Kingdom of God to the world. This fraternity must be lived first of all with the confreres of the Congregation as the founder advises: in order to never break the bond of charity!

We thank God for the gift of Br. Leandro's life and vocation and we ask the Lord of the vineyard to always guide and lead his path, accompanied by the maternal gaze of Mary most holy and of our venerable founder.
